The Admission Division is responsible for the processing of admission of students into various programmes through it collaboration with the Joint Admissionsand Matriculation Board (JAMB), the Federal Government agency responsible for all admission into undergraduate programmes, candidates seeking admission into 100 level and Direct entry, i.e. into 200 level, apply to the Board,write the Boards’ Examinations. The Board approves a minimum benchmark score that qualifies candidates for admissions into Nigeria Universities, ECU inclusive. Only candidates who satisfy these processes are considered for admission.
Admission is also done through Inter University Transfer, (IUT) into 200 level and 300 level for 4-year and 5-year programmes respectively.
There is also the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) Programme. This is a one year foundation (Advance Level) Programme. On successful completion of this programme, participant (students) who score the approved grades for programmes in the Universities are admitted into 200level in Edwin Clark University and other University of their choice.
Admission qualification into the University for the JAMB, JUPEB and Direct Entry Programmes are five O’ level credit pass relevant to their course of study at a minimum of two sittings. In addition, direct entry candidates must meet the approved grades for their respective programmes in the University.
