Faculty of Law

The Faculty has two Departments – Jurisprudence and International Law and Private and Public Law. The Faculty has a 200 sitting capacity auditorium and a well-stocked library with E-Library facilities. The academic and non-academic staffs are top ranking professionals.

The Faculty has a Law clinic and Moot Court. The clinic provides hands on experience for the students in their course of study. Students visit correctional centres, court and are also engage in internship in Law offices during vacation. The clinic also provides access to justice for indigent persons in collaboration with lecturers and legal practitioners in town.

The clinic participates in the Annual interview counselling competition since 2019 and came 2nd in the 2022/2023 session.

The Moot Court has held two annual Mooting Court competitions in honour of the proprietor’s birthday. The competition started in 2021/2022 session and different Universities were invited to participate. Various prizes are won in different categories.
